The Board of Trustees of the Ohio Lawn Care Association is proud to announce the creation of the Ohio Lawn Care Applicator of the Year Award. This award will convey and illustrate the mission statement of OLCA and serve the mission of the organization.

The mission of OLCA is to improve the environment through better lawn care, and this is demonstrated every day by members of the association. OLCA represents over 500 professional lawn care companies throughout Ohio.

“We feel it is our obligation and in the true spirit of the organization’s mission to establish and sponsor a prestigious award such as this”, informed Robert Palmer, Public Relations Committee Chairman. “It is the skill and knowledge of the applicators that make this industry work, and this award gives OLCA a chance to highlight the accomplishments of our members”. Award applications will be accepted from March to September, and the winner will be announced at the Ohio Lawn Care Association Annual Meeting during the Ohio Turfgrass Conference & Show in December.
